Job Description

PAH Management is a Dallas-based hotel ownership and management company specializing in select-service properties. Currently, they operate 11 hotels across five states, representing prestigious brands such as Marriott, Hilton, and Hyatt. What sets PAH Management apart is their ownership and operational control over their assets, empowering general managers with real authority, accountability, and direct access to corporate leadership. Their guiding principle is encapsulated in their motto: Taking GOOD to G.R.E.A.T. This corporate culture emphasizes continuous improvement, guest satisfaction, and operational excellence.

The current opportunity is a dual-property general manager role located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, overseeing two Marriott-branded hotels situated side by side. This challenging position requires a highly skilled leader who can effectively manage daily operations, maintain high brand standards, drive financial performance, and foster a positive team environment across both properties. The general manager will be instrumental in steering both hotels toward profitability through strategic leadership, effective team development, and superior guest service delivery. The role reports directly to the Director of Operations and garners high visibility with PAH’s corporate leadership team.

The dual-property general manager will lead all aspects of hotel operations including front desk management, housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage services. Ensuring cleanliness, service quality, and brand compliance at both locations is a core responsibility. The GM will conduct daily tours of operational departments and perform weekly inspections together with department heads to maintain top-notch conditions. Preparing and leading weekly staff meetings and training sessions using established PAH training standards will also be essential to foster continuous improvement and accountability among teams.

Financially, the GM will take ownership of both properties’ revenue generation, cost control, and overall profitability. Accurate monthly forecasting and budgeting, timely submission of all required financial documentation, and vigilant oversight of accounts payable and cash security are key responsibilities. The general manager is expected to work closely with department heads to uphold budgetary targets and ensure alignment with PAH’s checkbook accounting protocols.

In addition to operations and financial oversight, the GM plays an active role in sales and revenue initiatives. This involves engaging with top client accounts, hosting client receptions, and offering visible, hands-on support during peak guest times. The GM will also meet prospective clients to help convert site tours into confirmed bookings, thereby contributing directly to driving revenue growth.

People leadership is a cornerstone of this role. The GM is tasked with recruiting, hiring, and nurturing a high-performing management team that embodies PAH’s G.R.E.A.T. values. This includes interviewing final candidates, coaching, motivating, and holding managers accountable through adherence to company standard operating procedures. Developing talent for future advancement via competency training and corporate programs further ensures a strong leadership pipeline. Ensuring fair and equitable treatment of all associates by compliance with PAH policies completes the leadership responsibilities.

Maintaining strict brand and compliance standards for both Marriott properties is imperative. The general manager will ensure adherence to all brand requirements and complete necessary corporate training and certification programs to remain current and capable of facilitating brand training as needed.

PAH Management values diversity and is committed to providing an inclusive workplace. A competitive compensation package is offered, reflecting experience and performance. This includes a base salary, performance-based bonuses, comprehensive health benefits including dental and vision, paid time off, and hotel discounts across multiple brand programs. This role is ideal for a seasoned hotel management professional seeking to advance their career by leading dual properties and impacting both guest experiences and business performance in a supportive and empowered environment.
