Job Requirements

  • At least six years progressive experience in a hotel or related field or four-year college degree and four to five years of related experience or two-year college degree and five to six years of related experience
  • Long hours sometimes required
  • Must have valid driver’s license for the applicable state

  • Six years progressive experience in hotel or related field or four-year college degree with four to five years of related experience or two-year college degree with five to six years of related experience
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Experience in financial forecasting and budgeting
  • Proficiency in hospitality management software and systems
  • Knowledge of industry standards and compliance requirements

Job Duties

  • Play a pivotal role in hotel sales efforts including calling on top ten accounts meeting clients hosting luncheons and receptions and meeting with on-site contacts daily weekly and monthly
  • Assist in creating a positive team-oriented environment focusing on guest through employee development and motivation
  • Tour operating departments daily making adjustments as needed via department heads
  • Conduct weekly staff meetings including training sessions presented by managers and self reviewing sales and operations efforts
  • Meet all financial review dates and corporate directed programs timely
  • Ensure department heads maintain budgeted productivity levels and PAH standard checkbook accounting procedures
  • Develop managers for future advancement through competency training and corporate programs
