Job Requirements
- Previous hotel general manager experience or minimum 3+ years as assistant general manager at a Marriott-branded property
- Knowledge of Marriott brand standards
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to develop and manage budgets
- Experience with sales and marketing strategies
- Commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Job Qualifications
- Previous hotel general manager experience required or minimum 3+ years as assistant general manager at a Marriott-branded property
- Prior Marriott brand experience preferred
- Local market experience is a plus
- Strong financial acumen and operational expertise
- Proven ability to lead multiple teams and drive measurable results
Job Duties
- Create a vibrant, engaging environment for guests and team members
- Foster a culture of accountability, development, and service excellence
- Recruit, develop, and retain top hospitality talent
- Develop and execute annual budgets and strategic sales and marketing plans
- Analyze financial performance to maximize revenue, profitability, and return on investment
- Ensure full compliance with Marriott brand standards
- Drive guest satisfaction scores and elevate the experience
- Maintain a clean, well-maintained property
- Implement succession planning and provide coaching and mentoring
- Oversee staffing, compensation, and HR-related actions according to company policies
- Serve as a public ambassador in the local community
- Encourage team involvement in community initiatives
