We are actively seeking a dedicated and dynamic Dual Hotel General Manager to lead two distinguished Marriott-branded properties — Residence Inn by Marriott and Courtyard by Marriott — located in Central Islip, NY. This high-profile leadership opportunity is designed for a hospitality professional passionate about operational excellence, team building, and delivering memorable guest experiences. This role plays a critical part in driving the success and reputation of two Marriott properties by balancing financial management, guest satisfaction, staffing excellence, and community engagement.

The Dual General Manager will spearhead the development and implementation of strategic initiatives to boost financial performance while maintaining strict adherence to Marriott brand standards. Success in this position requires a leader with a strong track record in hotel management who brings genuine enthusiasm, professionalism, and integrity to every interaction. Key responsibilities include fostering a vibrant, engaging environment for guests and team members by cultivating a culture of accountability, development, and service excellence. The role demands recruitment, development, and retention of top hospitality talent to build strong leadership pipelines through succession planning, coaching, mentoring, and ongoing performance management.

In addition to people leadership, the Dual General Manager will be deeply involved in financial stewardship, developing and executing annual budgets, strategic sales and marketing plans, and analyzing financial metrics to maximize revenue, profitability, and return on investment. This leader will optimize distribution channels and technology platforms to grow market share and partner with senior leadership on capital planning and asset management initiatives. A vital focus also lies on the guest experience, ensuring consistently high satisfaction scores and immaculate property upkeep. Active guest engagement to nurture lasting relationships and brand loyalty rounds out the role’s responsibilities.

Community responsibility is also essential; the manager will champion a safe and secure environment for guests and staff while representing the hotels as public ambassadors within the local community. This opportunity is well-suited for candidates with prior experience as a Hotel General Manager or at least three years as an Assistant General Manager at a Marriott-branded property. Job Requirements

  • Previous hotel general manager experience or minimum 3+ years as assistant general manager at a Marriott-branded property

Job Qualifications
