Job Description

The Courtyard by Marriott Central Park and Residence Inn by Marriott Central Park are two prominent hotels located at 1717 Broadway, New York, New York. These properties are owned and operated by Aimbridge Hospitality, an independent franchisee separate from Marriott International, Inc. Aimbridge Hospitality manages all aspects of the hotels' employment policies and practices, including hiring, compensation, benefits, and other employment terms. This ensures a dynamic work environment tailored specifically to the unique demands of the New York City hospitality market while adhering to Marriott brand standards.

The Dual Director of Revenue Management position is a full-time management role crucial for driving the financial success and revenue optimization of these two Marriott-branded hotels. The selected candidate will play an instrumental role in devising and executing comprehensive revenue management strategies aimed at maximizing key performance indicators such as Revenue per Available Room (RevPAR), Average Daily Rate (ADR), occupancy levels, and overall profitability. This position requires a high level of expertise in pricing, inventory controls, forecasting, market analysis, and distribution channel management. The individual will be an essential strategic partner collaborating closely with multiple departments including Sales, Operations, Finance, and Ownership to ensure that the revenue goals align seamlessly with broader business objectives.

In this role, the Dual Director of Revenue Management will oversee all aspects of pricing strategies, inventory management, and demand forecasting for both hotels. They will analyze market trends, competitor performance, and demand patterns to identify profitable revenue opportunities while managing the balance of transient, group, and extended-stay business to optimize profitability. Daily rate adjustments based on market conditions, booking pace, and demand forecasts will be critical to ensure competitive positioning.

The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and timely forecasts on multiple timelines—weekly to annual—covering occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and total revenue. Detailed analysis of STAR (Smith Travel Research) reports, Marriott reporting tools, and other market intelligence will inform strategy and tactical decisions. Additionally, presentation-ready revenue reports and insights will be prepared regularly for ownership and senior leadership teams to guide business decisions.

A significant aspect of the role involves managing distribution channels effectively to maintain rate parity and consistency across Marriott-owned platforms, online travel agencies, global distribution systems, and third-party channels. Evaluations of channel performance and acquisition costs will help optimize net revenues. The Dual Director will also work closely with Marriott Revenue Management resources to synchronize brand initiatives and use advanced revenue management systems.

Collaborative interaction with Sales and Marketing teams is key to developing pricing strategies on negotiated accounts, group business, and special promotions. Participation in sales strategy meetings and providing data-driven recommendations to enhance market positioning are part of the daily responsibilities. This role further entails leadership duties including leading weekly revenue strategy meetings, communicating strategies and market trends to hotel leadership and ownership, providing training on revenue management best practices, and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement among hotel teams.

Financial stewardship is another essential component, involving assistance in annual budget preparation, identification of profitability opportunities, and monitoring departmental expenses to ensure resource efficiency. The successful candidate will support ownership initiatives related to financial performance and long-term business planning.

The salary range for this prestigious position is $145,000 to $165,000 annually and includes excellent benefits along with a 401k/IRA matching incentive. The company prides itself on being an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
