This role offers a competitive hourly wage range from $36.06 to $48.08 and includes eligibility for bonuses. The core responsibility of this role is to collaborate closely with the Sales Office to book group events that align with established booking parameters, ensuring optimal use and turnover of business opportunities. Responsibilities also include partnering with various sales teams to identify and pursue new group or catering business opportunities, engaging in proactive selling of hotel facilities including the spa, golf, and restaurants, assisting with event planning for long-term bookings, and handling the logistical aspects related to group events. Moreover, the role involves building and strengthening relationships with walk-in clients, existing customers, and community organizations to position the property as a preferred venue for group events.
The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative and dynamic environment, capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of customer service and satisfaction. They will represent the sales department in various meetings, coordinate site visits to showcase the property’s strengths, and provide expert local destination knowledge to customers. Attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a passion for customer service are essential to succeed in this role. This position also involves duties such as assisting with familiarization tours, managing event turnovers, supporting brand initiatives, and ensuring any guest issues arising from the sales process are resolved effectively and promptly.
