Job Description
PCI Pharma Services is a global leader in providing pharmaceutical manufacturing and packaging solutions that transform life changing therapies into a real impact on patients globally. Committed to advancing healthcare, PCI partners with thousands of biopharmaceutical companies to support their mission of improving patient outcomes through high-quality pharmaceutical products. The organization places a strong emphasis on investing in people who drive progress and excel in innovation, positioning itself as a pioneer in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry. PCI operates within a highly regulated environment, maintaining compliance with all relevant FDA and cGMP regulations to ensure product quality and patient safety across all its operations.
This role of Manufacturing Associate I at PCI Pharma Services plays a crucial part in delivering safe injectable pharmaceuticals by adhering to GMP production standards. The position primarily involves preparing equipment and materials required for aseptic manufacturing processes and operating critical machinery such as glass washers, autoclaves, depyrogenation ovens, and automated filling machines. The Manufacturing Associate I is expected to competently execute defined SOPs and maintain precise documentation to support batch releases in an FDA-regulated environment.
The position is designated for the 2nd shift schedule, generally Monday to Friday from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, with some flexibility required based on the manufacturing schedule. Employees working this shift qualify for a 10% pay differential. The role is full-time and offers a competitive hourly rate between $21.98 and $25.64, with eligibility for annual performance bonuses. PCI fosters a strong culture of professionalism and integrity, expecting manufacturing associates to exhibit behavior that reflects positively on the company. This includes active participation in training programs, adherence to cGMP protocols, and maintaining a safe, clean, and compliant work environment.
Professionals stepping into this role will receive cross-training in one or more aseptic manufacturing areas and are expected to learn and perform a range of routine manufacturing tasks on complex equipment per established SOPs. The Manufacturing Associate I must have an eye for detail, strong communication skills, and a demonstrated ability to follow detailed directions. Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and experience or understanding of manufacturing or laboratory environments is also necessary. The role demands the ability to work physically within clean room environments and comply with safety and waste disposal procedures.
Overall, the Manufacturing Associate I contributes directly to PCI's mission to bridge the gap between innovative life changing therapies and patients worldwide. This opportunity provides entry into a dynamic and growth-oriented pharmaceutical services company with a culture centered on equity, inclusion, and continuous improvement. PCI encourages diverse candidates to apply and emphasizes creating an equal opportunity workplace where everyone can thrive and grow professionally.
