Job Requirements
- Be at least 25 years old
- Own an iPhone or Android smartphone
- Have a clean driving record and valid auto insurance
- Drive a 4-door vehicle from 2010 or newer
- Pass a background check
- Consent to vehicle inspection if required
- Not currently have violations that impact driving eligibility
Job Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- Clean driving record
- Experience driving in urban or suburban areas preferred
- Ability to operate a smartphone and use mobile apps
- Excellent customer service skills
- Own a 4-door vehicle from 2010 or newer
- Basic knowledge of the Richmond area
Job Duties
- Accept and complete ride requests using the Lyft app
- Provide safe, reliable, and efficient transportation to passengers
- Maintain a clean and well-functioning vehicle
- Follow traffic laws and Lyft community guidelines
- Manage your schedule to maximize earning potential
- Communicate professionally with riders
- Use Upfront Pay feature to estimate trip earnings before acceptance
