The Driver/Receiver role at Aramark is an essential position that ensures the smooth and timely delivery of food between buildings within designated campuses. This role requires the safe operation of company vehicles to transport meals, with strict adherence to traffic regulations and safety protocols. Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and storeroom areas is another critical responsibility. The Driver/Receiver performs general cleaning tasks like sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces, ensuring a hygienic work environment. They also assist kitchen staff in food preparation activities, such as portioning ingredients, assembling meal trays, and packaging food. The position demands physical activity, including lifting and carrying moderate loads, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended standing or walking. - Receive incoming deliveries of food, supplies, and equipment
- Store deliveries securely and organize storeroom according to FIFO principles
- Assist with inventory management including stock counts and record maintenance
- Perform cleaning duties in kitchen and storeroom such as sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas
- Assist kitchen staff with food preparation tasks like portioning and packaging
- Support overall kitchen operations and perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
