Currently, DeVivo Companies is seeking a full-time Driver/Porter for its New Britain, CT location. This role centers around the safe and timely pick-up and delivery of trucks, buses, and trailers, along with supporting shop and warehouse tasks during non-delivery periods. The Driver/Porter position is integral to the company’s mission of maintaining efficient logistics and supporting the upkeep and readiness of its fleet. Responsibilities include completing accurate delivery logs and paperwork, verifying delivery orders, and ensuring vehicles are clean before delivery. Communication, organization, and self-motivation are key traits for success in this role as it involves interaction with various company levels, vendors, and customers. Candidates should be physically capable as the position requires lifting up to 75 pounds. Job Requirements
- High school degree or equivalent
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with clean driving record
- Ability to read and comprehend maps and/or written directions
- Good communication skills
- Good organization skills
- Good with numbers and tracking
- Self-motivated
- Able to lift 75lbs

- Pick up and deliver trucks, buses and trailers

- Wash and clean vehicles prior to delivery
