  • High school diploma or equivalent certificate preferred
  • Valid driver’s license with F endorsement in the State of Connecticut
  • Clean driving record
  • Weekend availability
  • Demonstrated interest in the elderly
  • Excellent communication skills

Job Duties

  • Transport residents to and from medical appointments, outings, and shopping trips
  • Monitor resident activity and alert staff when assistance is necessary to assure resident safety
  • Maintain vehicles in accordance with internal maintenance plan to ensure they are in safe, working order
  • Provide concierge-level transportation services
  • Communicate effectively with residents and staff
  • Ensure adherence to all traffic laws and safety regulations
  • Assist residents with boarding and exiting the vehicle as needed
