This role, Food and Food Service Delivery Driver, is critical to maintaining and supporting the nation's food supply chain. Delivery drivers are entrusted not only with transporting products safely and timely but also with representing the company's brand and values to customers. The driver position involves operating tractor trailers and straight trucks on various routes—including local intrastate, interstate, over-the-road (OTR), shuttle, and overnight routes—to deliver and sometimes unload food and related products. Safety and adherence to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations are paramount in this position. Drivers conduct comprehensive vehicle and trailer inspections before and after trips, ensuring all equipment is in compliance with safety standards.

Beyond the driving component, the role demands excellent customer service skills, as drivers interact directly with customers, vendors, and coworkers.
