The Shred-it Route Driver position at Stericycle plays a vital role in delivering exceptional service to clients by managing their document destruction needs securely and efficiently. This role emphasizes the safe transportation of supplies and materials in compliance with company policies and local, state, and federal regulations. Employees in this position typically work a 4x10 schedule with start times at 6 am or 7 am, and offer a competitive pay rate of $24.10 per hour with overtime paid after 40 hours per week. The primary responsibilities involve onsite and offsite document destruction, meticulous maintenance checks on vehicles, and ensuring the security of collected materials throughout the collection and transport process. The Shred-it Route Driver also ensures accurate servicing of accounts and customer satisfaction by managing routes efficiently, handling inquiries professionally, and operating equipment safely. This role requires adherence to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, including the completion of necessary logs and reports.
