The open position is for a Recruiter within the Human Resources department, reporting directly to the President. The Recruiter will play a critical role in supporting the company’s strategic hiring goals by actively engaging in recruiting efforts that include reviewing and processing applications, conducting interviews, and guiding recruiting processes across various locations. The recruiter is expected to embody a concierge customer service mindset, delivering a quality service experience to prospective candidates and internal stakeholders alike. This position demands agility in adapting to ever-changing recruitment challenges and aligning hiring strategies with operational demands, particularly within the transportation sector, which is a preferred area of recruiting experience. Additionally, the recruiter is tasked with background checks, onboarding, and collaborating closely with location staff to drive recruitment success and employee retention.

The role also requires regular travel to various locations for sourcing talent and providing on-the-ground recruitment support, ensuring the company remains competitive and efficient in attracting skilled professionals. The recruiter will be expected to use platforms such as Paycom, TenStreet, and TMW to facilitate seamless hiring, onboarding, and transfer processes. Job Qualifications

  • Three to five years of recruiting experience
  • college degree preferred or equivalent recruiting experience
  • Paycom, Tenstreet, 3rd party administrator experience desired

Job Duties

  • Field recruiting calls on an as needed basis
  • review applications of prospective hires and make determination if the applicant is qualified
  • process applications for new hires and rehires as needed
  • conduct personal interviews daily with prospective candidates
  • provide direction, guidance and counseling to location staff who are involved in recruiting efforts
  • complete background checks including pulling PSP and MVR reports
  • travel to various locations for recruiting efforts as needed
  • support re-hire and retention efforts
  • complete transfers and onboarding process through Paycom, TenStreet, and TMW for new and existing hires
  • be on call evenings and weekends to answer recruiting questions as needed
  • other duties as assigned
