Drivers are responsible for the safe operation of tractor-trailers, performing pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle condition and compliance with Department of Transportation regulations. Attention to detail is critical in verifying all delivery documentation and store keys to ensure accuracy for off-hour deliveries. CDL-A Delivery Drivers must use their knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skillful maneuvering to transport goods efficiently while maintaining high safety standards both on the road and within customer locations.
