With a dedication to innovation and customer satisfaction, the company fosters a collaborative culture that values diversity, inclusivity, and professional growth among its team members. Encore offers employees comprehensive benefits and promotes a safe, respectful, and engaging workplace environment that encourages both individual contributions and team achievements.
This particular role focuses on a vital operational position within Encore's warehouse and logistics division, responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of goods to customer sites. The position calls for a medium-duty driver who operates vehicles owned, leased, or rented by Encore, specifically truck types with a gross vehicle weight under 26,001 pounds. The professional in this role ensures all deliveries and pickups adhere to specified schedules and routes, contributing directly to customer satisfaction through excellent service and attention to detail. Daily responsibilities include careful loading and unloading of equipment, verifying order accuracy, securing loads to prevent damage, and maintaining the cleanliness and mechanical condition of the delivery vehicles.
Employees in this role must obtain and maintain a medium-duty DOT certification as required by applicable state laws, ensuring compliance with transportation regulations. The role reports directly to the Warehouse Operations Manager and requires a strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and responsiveness in dynamic work environments, including hotels, warehouses, and on the road. Team members often visit multiple Encore locations as well as external venues, requiring flexibility regarding working hours that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
The job offers an hourly pay range of $24.00 to $27.00, with the final compensation influenced by location, experience, skill set, and other factors such as travel and potential bonuses or overtime. Beyond competitive pay, Encore emphasizes employee wellness through comprehensive benefits packages and a supportive culture that values diversity and inclusivity. The company also highlights the importance of brand representation and interpersonal communication skills, expecting employees to serve as ambassadors of Encore's values in every interaction with customers and colleagues.
