Job Description

Our company is a well-established provider of building materials and delivery services, committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. With years of experience in the industry, we pride ourselves on delivering products with efficiency and professionalism to various customer sites. We understand that reliable material transportation is crucial to the success of construction projects and operations, which is why we invest in skilled personnel and modern equipment to ensure seamless service delivery.

The role of Non-CDL Delivery Driver is vital within our operations. This position is responsible for the safe loading, transporting, and delivering of materials to customers, specifically using vehicles weighing between 10,001 and 26,000 pounds. Emphasizing adherence to driver safety and compliance regulations, the Driver ensures all deliveries are completed on schedule and goods arrive undamaged. This is not just a logistics role but also a customer service position where the driver interacts directly with clients, helping to resolve issues and acting as a liaison between the company and customers.

The successful candidate will be skilled in the use of various delivery and handling equipment, including forklifts, and will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of delivery vehicles. They will keep detailed logs of deliveries, including verifying orders against invoices, and maintaining accurate records of mileage, item weights, and locations. Attention to detail and a commitment to safety procedures are critical to this role, along with the ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy materials frequently.

This position does not include supervisory responsibilities but offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who value teamwork, customer focus, and a hands-on role in the daily operations of material delivery. Our company supports the professional growth of its employees by fostering a collaborative work environment and adhering to health and safety regulations to minimize workplace hazards.

Candidates must be at least 21 years old, hold a valid driver’s license, and meet the necessary medical and driving record requirements, including passing an MVR report and obtaining a DOT medical card upon request. Experience in delivery, especially with building materials, and basic math and measurement skills, along with proficiency in English, are preferred.

Working conditions involve exposure to environmental elements within a production setting, including exposure to noise, dust, and hazardous materials. The ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as climbing, lifting up to 100 pounds frequently, and operating delivery vehicles is essential. Our company emphasizes safety training and regular safety meetings to reduce risks and protect all employees.

Join our team as a Non-CDL Delivery Driver to contribute to delivering excellence in the building materials supply industry. We offer a dynamic workplace where your skills and dedication are valued, and where your role directly impacts customer satisfaction and the company’s success.
