Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- One year of prior Class A driving experience within last five years or equivalent education
- Clean driving record with limited convictions and accidents as specified
- Ability to routinely lift 25 to 75 pounds and occasionally over 125 pounds with assistance
- Ability to drive hazardous cargo safely for up to eight hours
- Valid TX Class A commercial driver's license
- Valid medical examiner's card
- Hazmat and airbrake certifications
- Ability to obtain forklift operator certification
- Ability to read and understand safety materials
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Job Qualifications
- Valid TX Class A commercial driver's license
- Valid medical examiner's card
- Hazmat and airbrake certifications
- Minimum one year of Class A professional driving experience within last five years or diploma from accredited driving school with equivalent experience
- Ability to read and comprehend material safety data sheets
- Forklift operator certification (or ability to obtain)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
Job Duties
- Safely load, deliver, and unload compressed gas cylinders to customer locations
- Accurately record deliveries, pick-ups, and obtain customer signatures
- Collect, return, and manage empty or unsold cylinders
- Adhere to all company and government safety regulations including DOT, EPA, FMCSA, FDA, and OSHA standards
- Provide warehouse and dock support as needed
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with customers
- Operate company vehicles in compliance with company policies and safety protocols
