Operating from its Amarillo, TX Fill Plant, Airgas is currently seeking a Local Delivery Driver with a Class A Commercial Driver's License and Hazmat certification. Responsibilities include safely loading and unloading cylinders, maintaining accurate records, following strict government safety regulations including those mandated by DOT, EPA, FMCSA, FDA, and OSHA, and assisting with warehouse tasks when necessary. The role requires physical stamina to lift heavy cylinders safely, and a proactive mindset to work independently while maintaining deadlines. Drivers will operate company-provided vehicles typically straight or box trucks, with drives generally not exceeding eight hours.

Candidates must have valid Texas Class A Commercial Driver's License, medical examiner’s card, and Hazmat and airbrake endorsements, along with at least one year of recent Class A driving experience or equivalent training and experience from an accredited driving school.
