Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Ability to drive hazardous cargo up to 8 hours
- Must be able to work occasional overtime
- Capable of frequent bending
- Must have one year of prior professional driving experience or diploma from accredited driving school with minimum one year experience
- Valid TX Class A CDL with Hazmat and Airbrake certifications
- Valid Medical Examiner's Card
- Ability to lift 25-75 lbs routinely and occasionally heavier with equipment
- Ability to read and comprehend material safety data sheets
- Clean driving record with acceptable convictions and accidents
- Ability to work independently under pressure to meet deadlines
Job Qualifications
- Valid TX Class A Commercial Driver's License
- Valid Medical Examiner's Card
- Hazmat certification
- Airbrake certification
- Minimum of one year Class A or B professional driving experience within last five years
- Clean driving record with no more than two convictions or two at-fault accidents in last three years
- Ability to read and understand material safety data sheets
- Ability to lift between 25 to 75 lbs routinely
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Job Duties
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Load and unload truck daily with gas cylinders and supplies
- Maintain courteous and professional relationships with customers
- Make deliveries in a timely manner
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies
- Safely transport hazardous materials
- Complete required delivery documentation accurately
