Job Description

DSV is a global leader in transport and logistics, originally founded in 1976 in Denmark by ten independent hauliers who joined forces to create a unified and powerful presence in the industry. Over the years, DSV has grown into the world's third-largest provider of global transport and logistics solutions, operating in more than 90 countries with nearly 150,000 employees worldwide. The company excels in adding value to customers' entire supply chains by efficiently handling all aspects of transportation, storage, packaging, re-packaging, processing, and customs clearance of various goods. DSV prides itself on both its global reach and its local presence, ensuring close customer relationships and reliable supply chains. The company is dedicated to innovation, digitalization, and continuous growth, fostering a dynamic work culture driven by performance, collaboration, and accountability.

This particular opportunity is for a full-time CDL Shuttle Driver position located at the DSV facility in Lockbourne, USA (225 Rathmell Rd), within the Solutions Division. The role requires operating semi-tractor trailer vehicles to transport goods safely and efficiently between the plant and warehouse locations, adhering strictly to safety and operational protocols. The driver will work closely with warehouse supervisors and other staff to maintain smooth loading and unloading processes, ensuring accurate record-keeping and compliance with all company policies. This position involves handling physical demands such as maneuvering trucks, using safety equipment like wheel chocks and trailer jack stands, communicating with team members via radio or phone, and performing minor maintenance and security tasks.

The CDL Shuttle Driver must have a valid Commercial Driver's License, experience driving tractor-trailers, and a clean driving record. The role requires basic computer skills and fluency in English for effective communication and record-keeping. Physical capability to work in varying temperature conditions within warehouse environments and the ability to lift and carry moderate weights are necessary. DSV values safety, professionalism, and flexibility, with occasional mandatory or voluntary overtime required depending on business needs.

DSV is an equal opportunity employer committed to inclusivity, diversity, and respecting individual rights. Employees enjoy a supportive environment that fosters career growth, innovation, and teamwork. Potential candidates must be ready to thrive in a fast-paced, stimulating work setting where adaptability and strong interpersonal skills are key. As part of a large, reputable global transport and logistics network, this role offers a compelling chance to join a forward-thinking company focused on shaping the future of logistics worldwide.
