Job Requirements

High school or GED equivalent
proven box truck or at least 24 ft long truck driving experience
a good history of DMV/MVR record
possess a valid driver’s license appropriate for the class of vehicle
currently hold or ability to obtain a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures and transportation laws
strong time management and customer service skills
attention to detail
able to use forklift or pallet jack to move pallets or products
successfully pass background checks including criminal history and drug screening
possess a valid CDL Class A or B license with a clean driving record
successfully pass DOT physical exam
successfully pass Human Performance Evaluation on lift, lift-carry, push-pull, climb and repetitive posture
able to see and hear with specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
physically able to move frequently, stand, walk and sit
able to lift and/or move up to 50lbs and occasionally up to 75lbs
able to push and pull up to 50lbs, reach above shoulder, frequently bend and squat
legally operate a motor vehicle and frequently enter/exit vehicle and cargo area

Job Qualifications

Possess a valid driver’s license appropriate for the class of vehicle

Job Duties

Loading, transporting, delivering and unloading items to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner
reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure orders are complete, charges are correct, and customer is satisfied
assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles
collecting payments for delivered items as needed
providing excellent customer service, answering questions and handling complaints from clients
adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules
abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record
preparing reports and other documents relating to deliveries
operating equipment and machines such as cars, trucks, forklifts
any other related duties as assigned by management
