This job opening is for a full-time Delivery Driver based out of the Lathrop, California warehouse. The Delivery Driver plays a critical role in ensuring that restaurants remain stocked with fresh ingredients and products by delivering and rotating stock efficiently and safely. The driver will handle daily deliveries to In-N-Out Burger restaurants and satellite warehouses across northern California using the company's reliable fleet, including 389 Peterbilt Classic Day Cabs equipped with quiet Carrier brand reefers and 13-speed or Eaton transmissions. An essential part of this role involves operating heavy equipment such as electric pallet jacks, forklifts, lift gates, and hand trucks, as well as participating in warehouse activities like loading, unloading, and order pulling. This position demands physical endurance, as the driver will be required to lift 60-75 pounds continuously and maneuver large product racks. The Delivery Driver must prioritize customer service, maintaining excellent relationships while upholding the company’s standards of freshness and quality.

Work scheduling is full-time hourly, non-exempt with shifts typically from 1 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on a rotating schedule that includes four nights per week, weekends, and holidays. The compensation for this role is competitive at $39 per hour, accompanied by an extensive benefits package. As part of the requirements, the ideal candidate must have a valid Class A driver’s license with a clean driving record, be comfortable driving manual transmissions including 10-speed and 13-speed vehicles, and have at least two years of experience as a CDL delivery driver. Experience with direct store or restaurant deliveries is preferred. The candidate must show strong interpersonal skills, initiative, and the ability to work independently. Physical stamina and adaptability to weather conditions are also important for success in this role.
