The driver helper position at Heart of America Beverage is critical in supporting the delivery driver during daily routes. This role involves assisting with unloading products at delivery locations, positioning and rotating stock, helping with merchandising services, and managing back stock rotation to ensure product freshness and availability. The driver helper also assists in moving close dated products out as directed by the team lead or driver, contributing to effective inventory management. Ideal candidates for this position are those who can thrive in a physically demanding environment, are team-oriented, and detail-focused. Since the position involves handling heavy items regularly, including frequent lifting of weights up to 40 pounds and occasionally lifting kegs up to 185 pounds, applicants must be physically capable. The work requires mobility, the ability to stoop, crouch, climb, and withstand temperature variations during different stages of product handling and delivery. Safety is a priority, and helpers must possess a valid and clean driver’s license and be capable of passing a pre-employment drug screen. Being at least 18 years old to work with alcohol and 21 years old for driver training is also mandatory.
