The role of Driver, Helper Non Formula, at Performance Foodservice is an essential position within the company’s food supply chain operations. This role involves assisting delivery drivers in every facet of product delivery, ensuring that the products reach customers in excellent condition and on schedule while representing the company positively. Drivers and their helpers form a critical face of the company, building lasting customer relationships through professional and courteous interactions. The position requires riding along with drivers on intrastate and interstate routes using tractor-trailers, tandem trailers, or straight trucks for safe, timely deliveries, all in adherence to Department of Transportation regulations. Responsibilities include loading and unloading products, placing deliveries in customer-designated areas, completing required paperwork, and performing related duties as assigned. This role is critical for supporting America’s food distribution system by ensuring reliable and efficient service. Job Requirements
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent
- 6+ months in warehouse environment with customer interaction in foodservice
- Clean motor vehicle report for past 3 years
- Pass post-offer drug test
- Pass criminal background check

Job Duties
- Assists the driver in the safe and accurate delivery of products to customers in a timely and efficient manner
- Loads and unloads truck and or company vehicles
- Places products in areas identified by customers
- Completes required documentation in a timely manner
- Performs other related duties as assigned
