This role is essential for capturing high-quality, street-level imagery to update and expand a globally used digital map platform. This opportunity is self-employed (1099 status), offering the flexibility of contract work with provided specialized vehicles and full expense reimbursement for gas, travel, and lodging. \n\nThe Geo-Mapping Driver will be responsible for safely operating a specialized vehicle equipped with advanced photography equipment to accurately capture geographic data along assigned routes. This role demands strict adherence to schedules and mileage targets, along with daily and weekly reporting to ensure quality control and progress tracking. The successful candidate will perform regular vehicle and equipment safety checks, including mandatory breathalyzer tests, to maintain compliance with safety standards. Flexibility with travel is paramount, as the driver will often need to undertake overnight stays or travel by air to different mapping locations. \n\nThe position offers competitive compensation at $16.00 per hour and includes benefits such as fuel cards and paid on-the-job training.
