The Driver position at PebbleBeach Company plays a vital role in delivering exceptional guest experiences by ensuring the safe, timely, and courteous transportation of guests between various resort locations, golf courses, hotels, and off-site destinations. This full-time employment opportunity offers a competitive hourly wage of $17.40 plus service charges. As a Driver, you will be integral in providing seamless transit around PBC’s diverse properties, including Spanish Bay, The Lodge, Casa Palmero, and the Beach Club, operating multiple one-hour loops with numerous stops, totaling up to 80 guest pickups and drop-offs daily. You will also be responsible for transportation services to off-site locations such as Monterey Peninsula Airport, local restaurants, and cities including San Jose and San Francisco. This role demands exceptional communication skills, a sincere and respectful approach to guest interaction, and a strong commitment to safety and company policies. Attention to detail is crucial as the Driver inspects vehicles regularly to ensure optimal maintenance and cleanliness, handles guest luggage and golf clubs professionally, and adheres strictly to prescribed routes and schedules without exceeding speed limits. The Driver must possess a Class C Commercial License with passenger endorsement or be prepared to acquire one within the first three months of employment, along with maintaining a valid California driver’s license with minimal driving points.
