The position of CNP Driver at Uplift Meridian Preparatory plays an integral role in the school's campus operations, particularly within the Child Nutrition Program (CNP). This full-time role involves the safe and efficient transportation of food and related supplies to various school locations, ensuring that nutritious meals are delivered timely and in compliance with all safety and regulatory standards. The CNP Driver assists in multiple facets of food service, including helping prepare orders, loading and unloading food carriers, managing inventory and stock, and supporting kitchen cleanliness and safety protocols. Starting pay for this position is $18.00 per hour, reflecting the vital nature of the role within school operations.

This job demands a reliable individual with excellent vehicle driving skills and a commitment to food safety and sanitation. The CNP Driver will regularly operate delivery vehicles following Department of Transportation regulations and internal safety guidelines. They will also engage in kitchen tasks such as food preparation, serving, cashier duties, and maintaining cleanliness and equipment sanitation. This position requires adherence to USDA and TDA guidelines related to food counting, claiming, and safety.
