Job Description

Airgas, an Air Liquide company, is a prominent leader in the supply of industrial, medical, and specialty gases across the United States. With a workforce of approximately 18,000 associates, Airgas fosters a culture centered on safety, customer success, sustainability, and innovation. They provide a wide range of products including industrial gases, safety products, hardgoods, ammonia products, and process chemicals. As a subsidiary of Air Liquide, a global giant present in 60 countries with around 66,500 employees, Airgas benefits from a strong corporate background blending global expertise with local service excellence. The company is committed to diversity and inclusion, ensuring a workplace that values the unique perspectives of employees and customers from various cultural backgrounds. This approach strengthens innovation and enhances the customer experience.

The role offered is that of a Union CDL Class A Driver based in North Las Vegas, NV, operating from a retail shop location. This is a full-time position offering competitive pay of $28.70 per hour with a referral bonus of $1000. The job comes with an excellent benefits package starting after just 30 days of employment, which includes comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, life and disability coverage, and 401(k) retirement plans with company match. The position supports work-life balance with a Monday to Friday schedule, occasional weekends, and a typical 40-45 hour workweek with minimal overtime. Drivers take pride in being the face of Airgas, delivering compressed gas cylinders and supplies safely and efficiently to local and regional business customers using company-provided vehicles including tractor trailers, straight trucks, or box trucks.

Drivers at Airgas can expect to work with a modern fleet equipped with advanced driver-friendly technologies like onboard computers, collision avoidance systems, camera technology, and GPS. The role is physically demanding, involving frequent loading and unloading of gas cylinders, making deliveries on customer sites with hand carts, and ensuring freight is securely strapped. Drivers perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain safety and operational readiness. The position is designed to allow drivers to return home every night, supporting a balanced lifestyle where spending quality time with family and friends is possible. The job is ideal for those looking for a stable career with excellent compensation and benefits, along with opportunities to grow within a respected and innovative company that values safety and employee well-being.
