Job Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Current DOT Medical Certification card
- Minimum one year refrigerated trailer driving experience
- Minimum one year tractor-trailer driving experience
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, warehouse personnel, and supervisors
- Ability to stand, walk, and climb repeatedly into and out of tractor-trailer
- Availability to work all schedules including holidays and weekends
- Ability to safely operate equipment in cold and extreme weather
- Ability to frequently lift and handle cases up to 75 pounds
- Ability to read, speak, and understand English sufficient to comply with federal regulations
Job Qualifications
- Possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Hold a current DOT Medical Certification card
- Have at least one year of refrigerated trailer driving experience
- Have at least one year of tractor-trailer driving experience
- Demonstrate effective communication skills
- Ability to work all schedules including holidays and weekends
- Ability to operate safely in extreme weather conditions including cold environments
- Physical capability to lift and handle cases ranging from 5 to 75 pounds
- Fluent in English to meet Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
Job Duties
- Make local in-store deliveries using a refrigerated tractor-trailer
- Safely operate 36 to 53-foot reefer trailers with liftgates
- Deliver touch freight and handle lifting up to 75 pounds
- Make between 14 to 18 stops per shift following scheduled routes
- Communicate effectively with warehouse personnel, supervisors, and customers
- Operate equipment safely in extreme weather and cold environments
- Adhere to Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations including communication and reporting
