Job Requirements
- 21 years of age or older
- valid driver’s license and class A CDL license
- pass motor vehicle report (MVR)
- obtain a DOT medical card within 5 days of request
- ability to lift up to 100 pounds frequently and up to 200 pounds with assistance
- ability to physically operate delivery vehicles
- no medical marijuana card holders due to safety sensitivity
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or GED
- valid driver’s license
- class A CDL license
- at least 1 year delivery driving experience
- strong preference for 2 years CDL driving experience
- ability to read and speak English
- basic math and measurement skills
- clean driving record with less than 5 moving violations in last 5 years
Job Duties
- Placing shingles on a conveyor truck
- delivering lumber, trim, sheetrock and picking up returns
- loading or assisting with loading and securing product inside delivery vehicle
- delivering customer orders to delivery sites and assisting with unloading materials
- verifying order details and maintaining delivery logs
- acting as a customer service liaison and handling concerns
- maintaining cleanliness and safety of delivery vehicles
- using handheld compliance devices when not driving
- maintaining hours of service logs and pre/post trip inspections
- performing credit/product return pick-ups
- operating forklift or material handling equipment
- observing and recommending safety procedures
- performing other assigned duties
