99 Ranch Market is one of the largest and most recognized Asian supermarket chains in the United States, with over 60 store locations spanning multiple states including California, Nevada, Texas, Washington, Oregon, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Virginia, and more. This company plays a vital role in shaping the Asian supermarket culture in the grocery industry, blending diverse Asian food products with an excellent shopping experience that appeals to both Asian and non-Asian customers alike. Known for its commitment to quality, variety, and customer satisfaction, 99 Ranch Market continues to expand its footprint across the country, delivering fresh produce, groceries, household items, and specialty Asian products to a growing demographic. Its dedication to cultural representation and community engagement makes 99 Ranch Market a prominent and respected leader in the market sector.
As 99 Ranch Market continues to grow, it offers dynamic career opportunities for individuals seeking to be part of a thriving and culturally rich organization. One such opportunity is for the role of Class A Driver. This full-time position is based at the 6338 Regio Ave., Buena Park, CA location and offers a competitive starting pay rate of $24 per hour. The role requires working on specified days with some flexibility, including weekend or holiday shifts.
The Class A Driver plays a crucial role in the seamless operation of the company’s supply chain logistics by ensuring that goods are transported safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all legal and safety regulations. The driver is responsible for operating commercial vehicles, including manual trucks and large trailers, maintaining inspection and load safety, and securing cargo properly during transit. Safety is a top priority, with strict adherence to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company policies.
Furthermore, the role encompasses handling loading and unloading equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts, maintaining detailed and accurate paperwork including manifests, job sheets, and inspection reports, and promptly reporting any vehicle maintenance or delivery issues to management. Attention to detail and safety consciousness are paramount. The position also demands readiness to follow health and safety guidelines diligently and work cooperatively with the logistics team to support operational goals.
Ideal candidates will have at least one year of a clean driving record, experience driving manually operated Class A trucks, and prior experience in warehouse, logistics, or shipping environments. Familiarity with handling product barcodes and reefer trailers is preferred, as are skills in operating forklifts and pallet jacks. Bilingual ability in English/Mandarin or English/Spanish is considered an asset.
Physical stamina is required to meet the demands of long periods of sitting while driving, standing, bending, and lifting up to 25 pounds regularly. Working conditions may include exposure to environmental factors such as heat and noise. Prospective drivers must successfully pass a road test, background check, and DOT drug test prior to hire.
Joining 99 Ranch Market means being part of a dedicated team that values safety, efficiency, and employee well-being. The company offers attractive benefits including medical, dental, and life insurance, a 401(k) plan with company matching, employee discounts, paid time off, and recognition for long-term service. As a company that fosters career growth and development, 99 Ranch Market is a great place for drivers seeking a rewarding and stable career in transportation logistics.
