The role of Coordinator, Driver Check-in, is critical within this framework. Food and food service delivery drivers are pillars of the nation’s food supply chain, ensuring products reach their destinations promptly and in excellent condition while representing the face of the company. Coordinators in Driver Check-in work closely with these delivery drivers, ensuring accurate check-in processes and proper handling of returned products. This role involves managing receipts, reconciling cash and checks, and verifying all returned items to be re-entered into inventory.
The Coordinator will also maintain Department of Transportation (DOT) logs and vehicle maintenance reports, act as a point of communication between drivers, inventory personnel, and department managers, and assist with coordinating vehicle repairs and maintenance. The position demands professionalism, teamwork, and a focus on customer service as essential traits to effectively fulfill the responsibilities. Working hours for this role are scheduled from 7 PM to 3 AM, supporting the operational flow of delivery schedules and returns processing.

Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Six months or more experience in a warehouse environment
- Administrative support experience with basic math and computer data entry skills
- Ability to pass post offer drug test and criminal background check

Job Duties
- Check-in drivers upon returning from deliveries
- Receive driver’s receipts of the day’s customer deliveries, reconcile cash and checks, and place in the safe
- Examine and verify all returned items to be re-entered into inventory
- File Department of Transportation (DOT) logs and company vehicle maintenance reports
- Reconcile damaged goods and returned items and re-enter items into appropriate categories within the inventory system as required
- Communicate with inventory personnel over quality related concerns
- Communicate with drivers, department managers, and others regarding delivery challenges
- Assist in the coordination of vehicle repairs and maintenance as required
- Perform other related duties as assigned
