The role of Coordinator, Driver Check-in is essential within this robust supply chain framework. Delivery drivers play a pivotal role in ensuring products reach customers in excellent condition and on time. The Coordinator acts as a vital link between the drivers and the inventory and delivery systems, ensuring the check-in process upon driver returns is organized and accurate. This position involves reconciling delivery receipts, managing cash and checks, handling returned items, and updating inventory records. Accurate processing of returns and damaged goods is critical to maintaining inventory integrity and customer satisfaction.

Additionally, the Coordinator is responsible for filing Department of Transportation (DOT) logs and company vehicle maintenance reports, assisting with vehicle repair coordination, and addressing delivery challenges by communicating effectively with drivers, department managers, and other stakeholders. This role requires professional interaction with customers, vendors, and coworkers, ensuring queries and concerns are resolved promptly and accurately, contributing to smooth operational flow.   • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
  • 6+ months in a warehouse environment
  • administrative support performing basic math and computer data entry skills
  • pass post offer drug test and criminal background check

Job Duties

  • Check-in drivers upon returning from deliveries
  • receives driver’s receipts of the day’s customer deliveries, reconcile cash and checks and place in the safe
  • examines and verifies all returned items to be re-entered into inventory
  • files Department of Transportation (DOT) logs and company vehicle maintenance reports
  • reconciles damaged goods and returned items and re-enter items into the appropriate categories within the inventory system, as required
  • communicates with inventory personnel over quality related concerns
  • communicates with drivers, department managers, and others regarding delivery challenges
  • assists in the coordination of vehicle repairs and maintenance as required
  • performs other related duties as assigned
