Job Requirements
- Six months of Commercial Driver's License A experience
- valid current driver's license
- clean driving record over the past two years
- valid current CDL A license
Job Qualifications
- Six months of CDL A driving experience
- valid current CDL A license
- clean driving record for the past two years
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- experience with different types of trailers such as tanks, vans, and flatbeds is beneficial
Job Duties
- Safely operate tractor trailers to transfer and deliver freight in and out of loading doors
- operate material handling equipment such as PIT to load and unload materials safely
- maintain required documentation including daily logs, vehicle inspection records, mileage, and shipping records
- conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and document findings
- provide basic maintenance for equipment and report malfunctions
- properly secure loads and ensure compliance with weight limits
- maintain cleanliness and organization within assigned tractor/trailer and work areas
- inspect trailers before moving to verify condition
- adhere to all safety policies and practices
