This particular opportunity is for a Driver CDL position based in Katy, TX. As a Driver CDL, you will support the company's mission to deliver quality snacks safely and efficiently to stores and warehouse facilities across intrastate and interstate routes. The position emphasizes adherence to safety protocols and timeliness, providing a vital link between production and consumption in the supply chain.

The role includes a scheduled Monday to Saturday work week with four days on and guaranteed two consecutive days off, generally working ten hours a day starting between midnight and 4:00 AM. This 40-hour workweek allows the driver to maintain a balanced schedule while meeting delivery timelines. The principal location is a crossdock facility at 30229 Highway Blvd, Katy, TX 77494.

Safety is paramount in this role, where you will be responsible for regular equipment checks including tractor, trailer, and pallet jack inspections. Daily field service activities encompass preparing delivery receipts, truck logs, and maintenance records. Collaboration with the route manager or dispatch team ensures efficient routing and delivery scheduling. The ideal candidate will have experience in direct store delivery (DSD), familiarity with DOT and OSHA regulations, and proficiency with electronic logging devices and scanners.

The role also involves servicing military base facilities requiring valid REAL ID driver4s license, U.S. passport, or federal ID for secure access. The position requires the ability to work under varying weather conditions and is suited for individuals with a customer-focused mindset who can adapt to dynamic route assignments. Proficiency in maintaining compliance with government regulations and a clean driving record over the last decade are essential.
