This means not only delivering products in a timely manner but also maintaining a strong commitment to safety standards and customer satisfaction. Drivers will use equipment such as tractors, trailers, pallet jacks, and electronic logging devices to manage deliveries and comply with safety inspections. The role highlights the importance of compliance with federal and state regulations, including those from the Department of Transportation (DOT) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). Candidates must possess a valid Class A CDL and demonstrate a track record of safe driving, with a minimum of one year of experience and no serious violations in the past decade.
Practical knowledge in temperature-controlled food transportation, proficiency with smartphones and electronic devices for logging and delivery scanning, and adaptability to changing routes and weather conditions are crucial for success in this position. The company encourages a customer-focused approach, requiring excellent interpersonal skills to build trust with key customers. Mondelēz supports its team with various benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid leave, life and disability insurance, and wellness programs, fostering a balanced and rewarding work-life environment.
