The Parking Spot, a leading provider in near-airport parking services across the United States, has proudly operated for over 25 years. With over 40 locations nationwide and more than 2,000 dedicated team members, The Parking Spot has grown to become the largest near-airport parking company in the country. The company is distinguished not only by its extensive network and exceptional services but also by its Employee Ownership Program, which allows every team member to receive a direct financial stake in the company’s success. This commitment to shared success fosters a supportive and collaborative work environment where every employee plays a critical role in delivering outstanding service to customers.
The Parking Spot is currently seeking part-time Shuttle Drivers to join their team during evenings and weekends. This non-CDL shuttle driver role is critical in ensuring customers receive safe, timely, and courteous transportation between the parking facilities and airport terminals. Shuttle Drivers at The Parking Spot serve as the face of the company, providing friendly assistance and a professional transportation experience that enhances customer satisfaction. Drivers will safely transport up to 15 passengers, assist with luggage, and perform necessary pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Beyond safe driving, the role emphasizes stellar customer service, requiring drivers to greet each customer warmly, answer questions knowledgeably about the facility, and collaborate with team members to maintain smooth operations. The role also offers opportunities for cross-training in other frontline positions, enabling personal growth and diversified skills within the company.
Compensation for this position is competitive, with a base pay of $15 per hour, topped with cash and mobile tips that increase earning potential. Regular bonus opportunities are also available for eligible employees, further rewarding exceptional performance and commitment.
The Parking Spot values diversity and inclusivity, fostering an equitable workplace that supports and celebrates all employees and customers. Their commitment to equal opportunity extends throughout the organization, demonstrated by policies against racism and discrimination, and through their intentional efforts to develop diverse teams.
Working part-time evenings and weekends, Shuttle Drivers benefit from consistent schedules, professional training, and the chance to enroll in benefits such as medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, vacation pay, and paid holidays, depending on eligibility. The company emphasizes employee development, offering ongoing training opportunities to support career advancement and personal growth.
In summary, The Parking Spot offers a dynamic and rewarding role for individuals interested in providing exceptional guest service in the transportation sector. The part-time Shuttle Driver position combines competitive pay, flexible hours, shared employee ownership, and comprehensive benefits, all within a company renowned for its strong values and team-oriented culture. This role is ideal for dependable, customer-focused individuals who thrive in a collaborative environment and want to be part of a trusted leader in airport parking and transportation services.
