Job Description
Rose Senior Living Beachwood is a distinguished senior living community dedicated to enriching the lives of older adults through compassionate care and hospitality-focused services. Located in a welcoming environment, Rose Senior Living Beachwood has established itself as a trusted provider offering a variety of supportive living arrangements tailored to meet the unique needs of each resident. The community prides itself on creating a vibrant, engaging atmosphere where seniors can enjoy comfort, companionship, and an active lifestyle. The company’s commitment to excellence extends beyond resident care to investing in its employees, fostering a workplace culture that values growth, respect, and collaboration. By joining this team, employees become part of a forward-thinking organization that actively supports professional development and innovation in senior living.
The position available is a hospitality-focused Driver, designed to play a vital role in improving the quality of life for residents by enabling safe and reliable transportation to essential appointments, community outings, and special events. As a Driver, you will be responsible for transporting residents to grocery stores, monthly outings, and extended trips according to scheduled plans. Your role is crucial in ensuring that residents maintain social connections and have access to the resources they need, which helps promote their overall well-being. In addition to transportation duties, you will assist in routine housekeeping tasks and contribute to maintaining a clean and orderly environment, supporting the overall operations of the community.
This full-time position operates from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm with a competitive wage of $16.00 per hour, reflecting the organization’s recognition of the important contribution this role makes to resident satisfaction and community life. The Driver works closely with the Director of Life Enrichment and the Life Enrichment Coordinator to assist residents when boarding and disembarking from vehicles, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times. You will also be tasked with managing equipment such as walkers, wheelchairs, and canes, emphasizing the company’s dedication to resident safety and mobility.
Additional responsibilities include maintaining the vehicle by scheduling routine maintenance and cleaning to guarantee reliability and safety. This role demands attention to detail and a commitment to supporting a culture where business decisions and employee engagement drive top-line revenue and occupancy, highlighting the interconnectedness between quality service and organizational success. As part of the Rose Senior Living Beachwood team, you will engage in meaningful work that significantly impacts the lives of seniors and their families, fostering a supportive and caring community environment. Our employees are valued as essential contributors to the mission and are encouraged to bring enthusiasm, compassion, and professionalism to their roles.
Candidates must understand that due to the nature of the community environment, vaccination status for illnesses such as MMR, chicken pox, hepatitis, flu, and COVID-19 may be requested as part of the employment process. Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies is mandatory unless an approved exemption is granted, ensuring the health and safety of all residents and staff. If you are passionate about hospitality and senior engagement, and eager to make a positive difference in a senior living setting, we welcome your application and look forward to connecting with professionals who share our commitment to excellence in senior care.
