The Parking Spot is the largest near-airport parking company in the United States, boasting over 25 years of industry experience and a robust network of more than 40 locations nationwide. With over 2,000 dedicated team members, The Parking Spot stands out not only for its extensive reach but also for its commitment to employee ownership. Through a unique Employee Ownership Program, every team member receives a direct financial stake in the company's ongoing success, fostering a culture of shared responsibility and enthusiasm for delivering exceptional service. This program enhances the connection between employees and the company's growth, making The Parking Spot an employer that values its people as much as its customers.
The Parking Spot operates in the travel and parking services sector, focusing on providing convenient, secure, and efficient parking options for travelers near airports. The company emphasizes safety, quality customer service, and operational excellence in all its locations. The culture promotes teamwork, respect, and a customer-centric approach that elevates the travel experience by simplifying the first and last segments of a journey.
Within this dynamic environment, the role of the Shuttle Driver (Non-CDL) is crucial. This part-time position involves providing safe and courteous transportation for customers between parking facilities and airport terminals during morning and afternoon shifts. Shuttle Drivers play an integral role in ensuring guests arrive and depart seamlessly, positively impacting their overall experience with The Parking Spot. The position offers an hourly wage of $14, plus the opportunity to earn tips via cash and mobile payments, along with regular bonus incentives.
Shuttle Drivers are expected to uphold the highest standards of safety while transporting up to 15 passengers. They conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, assist customers with luggage, and consistently provide friendly and attentive customer service. Knowledge of facility layouts and airport terminals is essential to help customers effectively navigate the service areas. Furthermore, teamwork and cooperation with other team members are highly valued to maintain smooth daily operations.
The job is designed for those who thrive in an active, customer-facing role and appreciate a structured schedule with consistent hours. Additional benefits for eligible employees include medical, vision, dental, and 401(k) plans, paid time off, vacation pay, paid holidays, and opportunities for ongoing training and professional development. The company also values diversity and inclusion profoundly, fostering a welcoming environment where all employees, partners, and customers are respected and supported regardless of their backgrounds.
In summary, The Parking Spot’s Shuttle Driver role offers an excellent opportunity for candidates seeking a part-time, meaningful job in a well-established and employee-focused company. The position not only involves driving but also represents the company’s brand and commitment to quality service, safety, and community. Candidates who are at least 21 years old, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and hold the necessary licenses and clean driving records are encouraged to apply. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy interacting with people, have a strong sense of responsibility, and want to be part of a respected team in the travel service industry.
