Job Description

NRS is a leading provider of transportation and supply chain solutions with a rich history spanning over 70 years as a family-owned and operated company. Renowned for delivering smart logistics solutions to numerous Fortune 500 companies, NRS encompasses diverse brands such as NRT, Keystone, Keystone Fresh, and Keystone Capacity. The company is recognized for its innovative energy and commitment to pushing boundaries in the logistics industry, continuously growing and strengthening its network. At NRS, there is a strong dedication to fostering a culture that empowers each associate by allowing them to apply their unique skills to meet the logistics challenges faced by clients. Whether working in the office, the warehouse, or on the road, NRS associates share a unified mission driven by innovation and excellence. National Retail Transportation (NRT), a subsidiary of NRS, is currently seeking dependable and reliable CDL-A Switchers to join their team in Lyndhurst, New Jersey. This full-time position offers a stable and consistent schedule from Monday to Friday, with multiple shift options, including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts, along with several start times to accommodate different preferences. The role of the CDL-A Switcher involves safely moving trailers between the warehouse dock and various yard locations in a timely and professional manner. This also includes completing daily reports to maintain operational efficiency and communication. Offering competitive pay ranging from $26 to $27 per hour, the position provides an average weekly earning potential between $1,000 and $1,200. Employees benefit from home time daily, ensuring a healthy work-life balance as they return home each day instead of extended periods away. Paid orientation and safety training underscore the company's commitment to equipping its drivers with the necessary knowledge and support to perform their duties safely and effectively. NRS demonstrates a strong commitment to its workforce by providing excellent health coverage with plan options that are competitively priced lower than industry averages, fostering a positive work environment, and implementing robust safety practices. Additional employee benefits include retirement plans, paid holidays, and incentives like driver referral bonuses that recognize and reward employee contributions. The company’s inclusive culture embraces diversity, adhering to equal employment opportunities without discrimination based on race, religion, gender, or other legally protected characteristics. This position is an excellent opportunity for a skilled CDL-A driver to join a reputable logistics company dedicated to innovation, employee well-being, and professional growth within the dynamic transportation industry.
