The role of the Delivery Driver-Salesman at Favorite Brands is a critical position that combines product delivery, customer service, and sales expertise. The Delivery Driver-Salesman oversees the entire delivery route, managing truck maintenance, safety processes, and ensuring all operations meet federal standards. Meticulous attention to product inventory before departure, along with accurate invoicing and payment collection, ensures smooth transaction processing and customer satisfaction.

The Delivery Driver-Salesman actively seeks opportunities to sell additional products during deliveries, audits point-of-sale items to maintain strong brand presence, and complies fully with company and legal guidelines. Candidates should also be able to complete required training and maintain equipment in compliance with operational regulations.
This position requires a valid work authorization in the USA and is ideally suited for candidates with at least six months of relevant driving and delivery experience, basic computer and math skills, and the ability to manage time effectively while working with a team. Previous leadership experience is advantageous as the role includes oversight responsibilities. Job Duties
- deliver ordered product to customers on time while overseeing all delivery, truck maintenance, and safety processes and procedures for the route
- develop and maintain an effective rapport with all customers
- oversee performance of route helpers, assistant drivers, and merchandisers assigned to team
- count truck and verify with warehouse personnel before leaving for the route
- work to always be increasing product knowledge and utilize it to help customers sell more beer
- seek out opportunities to sell additional product to customers upon order delivery that will help fulfill customer needs and sell more product
- audit condition of all point-of-sale (P.O.S.) items to ensure brand representation meets company standards
- create invoices and collect payment from customers and reconcile all transactions with company cashier
- check and audit truck and equipment each day to verify it is compliant with federal operating guidelines
- complete training, seminars and classes as assigned
- sell all products in accordance with company guidelines and T.A.B.C. (Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission)
- perform job duties in accordance with the Federal Motor Carrier Act
- complete and submit required reports accurately and on time
- perform other duties as assigned
