The Transportation Department at River Spirit Casino Resort plays a critical role in enhancing guest satisfaction by ensuring safe, efficient, and courteous transportation services around the property.
The Transportation Operator position is a full-time role based at River Spirit Casino Resort in Tulsa. The core responsibility of this position is to provide friendly and professional transportation services to both guests and employees, facilitating smooth transit throughout designated areas of the property. This role involves operating buses and shuttle vehicles, greeting guests upon arrival and departure, and assisting passengers with information and physical support as needed. The Transportation Operator functions as a vital point of contact for guests, offering valuable guidance on casino games, property layout, and shuttle services.
In this role, the operator drives typically a 25-passenger bus or 15-passenger shuttle to designated pick-up and drop-off points, observing traffic rules and safety protocols specific to tribal property. Coordination with management and shift leads ensures that transportation schedules remain efficient and responsive to real-time requirements. The operator will be responsible for maintaining accurate trip logs and handling incident or accident reports as necessary. Additional duties may include shift coverages, dispatch assistance, and other tasks assigned by supervisors.
The ideal candidate for this position possesses excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to provide exceptional guest service, and a commitment to safety and professionalism. Must hold a valid Oklahoma driver's license and successfully complete background checks, drug screening, and gaming licensing processes when applicable. Experience in passenger transportation, especially within casino environments, and basic computer skills are preferred. Job Requirements
- Ability to read, write, and understand English
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Basic computer skills
- Previous passenger driving experience preferred
- Class II or III casino experience preferred
- Valid Oklahoma driver’s license
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check
- Ability to pass drug test
- Ability to obtain gaming license when required

Job Duties
- Greet guests entering or leaving the casino or hotel
- Provide information to passengers about casino games, layout, services, transportation schedules, and safety
- Assist passengers physically when requested
- Drive assigned vehicles such as 25-passenger buses or 15-passenger shuttles to designated locations
- Plan routes and observe on-site traffic and tribal property laws
- Complete trip logs, accident reports, and incident reports
- Perform shift changes, coverages, and additional duties as assigned
