They emphasize continuous training and development to ensure their workforce is prepared for the future while maintaining long-term client relationships and a strong operational foundation. With a history deeply rooted in reliability and safety, McLane offers its employees a stable and rewarding environment in which to grow their careers.

This CDL-A Delivery Driver position offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth within McLane. Drivers play a critical role in moving America’s favorite brands by safely and efficiently delivering goods across local and regional routes. The position is structured as a full-time role with dispatch times between 8pm and 3am from Sunday to Thursday, working four days a week. Compensation ranges from $85,000 to $100,000 annually, reflecting McLane’s commitment to providing industry-leading pay. Drivers benefit from comprehensive health coverage that begins on day one, including medical, dental, and vision insurance along with FSA/HSA options and company-paid life insurance. Additional benefits include paid holidays, vacation time, sick leave accrual, and participation in a 401(k) profit sharing plan after just 90 days of employment.

As a CDL-A Delivery Driver, your responsibilities will include inspecting tractor-trailers before and after trips for defects, submitting detailed DOT inspection reports, verifying delivery documents and store keys, and safely maneuvering commercial vehicles to designated destinations while adhering to all driving regulations. You will also maintain accurate driver logs documenting delivery receipts, product temperatures, and any exceptions, and assist with unloading trailers at customer premises. This role demands reliability, safety focus, and adaptability to daily operational changes, contributing to McLane’s unmatched reputation for service and dependability.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience and hold a valid Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL-A). Candidates must meet McLane’s motor vehicle record and risk rating qualifications and demonstrate adequate English literacy skills to effectively follow safety protocols and communicate within the workplace. McLane champions a diverse and inclusive workplace and provides equal employment opportunities regardless of age, race, gender, or veteran status. Background checks and drug screenings are part of the hiring process in compliance with applicable laws. Joining McLane means becoming part of a company that values dedication and hard work while offering a supportive and rewarding work environment with a clear path for career advancement.
