Job Requirements
- Have a valid driver’s license
- Be 25 years of age or older
- Have more than 1 year of driving history
- Have a personal auto insurance policy
- Pass a vehicle inspection
- Pass a background check including criminal and motor vehicle record checks
- Complete a DOT pre-engagement drug test and submit to ongoing DOT drug and alcohol testing as required under FTA rules
Job Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- At least 25 years of age
- More than one year of driving history
- Personal auto insurance
- Ability to pass background checks including criminal and motor vehicle records
- Ability to pass a DOT pre-engagement drug test and ongoing testing
- Familiarity with app-based platforms and navigation tools
Job Duties
- Use the Via app to connect with riders and provide paratransit services
- Drive your personal vehicle to transport passengers safely
- Choose your own hours and manage your schedule independently
- Provide shared rides using an efficient routing system
- Pass a background check and vehicle inspection
- Comply with DOT drug and alcohol testing requirements
- Maintain excellent customer service and professionalism
