Job Requirements
- No CDL/commercial driver's license needed
- At least 18 years old (21+ to deliver alcohol)
- Access to a car, scooter, or bicycle (in select cities)
- Valid driver's license number
- Social security number (for US residents only)
- Consistent access to a smartphone
- Ability to pass background and ID verification
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous delivery or customer service experience is a plus
- Ability to navigate efficiently using smartphone GPS
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage time and work independently
- Familiarity with the local area
- Basic smartphone proficiency
Job Duties
- Deliver food orders promptly and accurately
- Pick up groceries and retail orders from partner locations
- Communicate with customers as needed to ensure satisfaction
- Maintain a reliable and accessible transportation method
- Handle payments and use the DoorDash app to track and complete orders
- Follow all traffic laws and safety guidelines
- Provide excellent customer service during every delivery
