- Be at least 18 years old (21+ to deliver alcohol, 19+ in select states)
- Access to a car, scooter, or bicycle (in applicable cities)
- Valid driver’s license number if using a car
- Possess a social security number (for US applicants)
- Consistent access to a smartphone
- Complete successful identity verification
- Able to work flexible hours
Job Qualifications
- Ability to provide reliable transportation via car, scooter, or bicycle (in select cities)
- Must have a valid driver’s license number for car delivery
- Familiarity with smartphone use and app navigation
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Customer service orientation
- Ability to work independently and manage flexible schedules
- Knowledge of local delivery area is a plus
Job Duties
- Pick up food, grocery, and retail orders from local merchants
- Deliver orders promptly and accurately to customers
- Use the DoorDash Dasher app to manage orders and navigate efficiently
- Communicate effectively with customers and support if issues arise
- Maintain excellent customer service and professionalism
- Ensure the safe handling of all deliveries
- Cash out earnings promptly using the DoorDash Crimson deposit system
