- Have consistent access to a smartphone
- Provide social security number if located in the US
- Own a car, scooter, or bicycle (bicycle available in select cities)
- Be at least 21 years old to deliver alcohol
- Activate a DoorDash Red Card for purchases
Job Qualifications
- Able to shop accurately and efficiently
- Familiarity with using smartphone apps
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to manage time and deliveries effectively
- Comfortable with driving or using a scooter or bicycle (in select cities)
- Knowledge of local traffic laws and delivery regulations
- Basic technology skills to navigate the DoorDash Dasher app
Job Duties
- Pick up grocery, convenience, retail, and alcohol orders for delivery
- Shop for items accurately and efficiently using the DoorDash platform
- Deliver items promptly to customers while maintaining excellent customer service
- Manage delivery tasks using the DoorDash Dasher app
- Activate and use the prepaid Red Card for purchasing items
- Adhere to DoorDash policies and local regulations
- Communicate effectively with customers and DoorDash support
