Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous bartending or mixology experience preferred
- Valid alcohol service certification as required by local regulations
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Physical ability to handle lifting and manual tasks
- Must meet company grooming and dress code standards
Job Qualifications
- Adhere to the company dress code, presenting a neat and groomed appearance
- Mix drinks quickly and accurately in a dynamic, high-volume setting
- Understand and follow responsible alcohol service guidelines
- Meet local regulatory requirements, including necessary certifications
- Effectively operate the POS system for transactions
- Handle guest concerns professionally and calmly escalate issues to management if needed
- Communicate effectively with guests, responding clearly to inquiries
- Ability to work in a noisy environment
- Physical capability to lift 30 lb cases and navigate stairs
- Stand for the duration of your shift and perform various physical tasks as needed
- Frequently immerse hands in hot water for sanitation purposes
Job Duties
- Create a warm and inviting atmosphere at the bar
- Verify the age of guests ordering alcoholic beverages who appear to be 40 years old or younger
- Prepare, garnish, and serve drinks promptly and efficiently
- Engage guests by showcasing your mixology skills and flair
- Familiarize yourself with the menu to provide thoughtful drink and food recommendations
- Upsell food and drinks to enhance the guest experience
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area at all times
