The role of the Drink Server at Dave & Buster's is essential in delivering an unparalleled guest experience. The primary responsibility is to ensure that drinks look amazing and arrive promptly to guests, contributing to the overall enjoyment of their visit. While on duty, the Drink Server maintains service stations fully stocked, clean, and ready for use, supporting fast, friendly, and accommodating service. The position requires creating a warm and fun atmosphere for both guests and team members, adhering strictly to sanitation procedures and alcohol awareness policies to ensure safety. The Drink Server is also tasked with regularly communicating with guests, managing guest demeanor, and involving managers when necessary. This role includes making and delivering non-alcoholic drinks, garnishing them properly, assisting with clearing dishes and glassware, bussing and resetting tables, restocking supplies, and ensuring ongoing guest satisfaction by responding to their needs promptly. Maintaining thorough knowledge of all menu items to assist guest inquiries and working efficiently under the "Full hands in, Full hands out" philosophy are key aspects of this job. Additionally, the Drink Server fosters a cooperative and harmonious work environment with team members to maintain high morale, productivity, and efficiency. Professional appearance and good communication skills in English are required, as well as a minimum age of 18. This role involves working in a fast-paced, noisy environment and requires physical stamina to stand, walk, lift, and move around the facility throughout the shift. The position offers a salary range from $7.25 to $15, reflecting the flexibility and energy needed to succeed in this engaging and varied job.

Job Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
Ability to work days, nights and or weekends as required
Ability to work in noisy, fast paced environment with distracting conditions
Ability to read and write handwritten notes
Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
Ability to move about facility and stand for long periods of time
Ability to walk or stand 100 percent of shift
Ability to reach, bend and stoop frequently

Job Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age
Ability to communicate effectively in English
Ability to work in a fast-paced, noisy environment
Knowledge of sanitation procedures
Understanding of alcohol awareness policies
Good interpersonal skills to create a warm and fun atmosphere
Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization
Efficient multitasking and time management skills
Prior experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
Ability to work flexible schedules including days, nights, and weekends

Job Duties

Deliver an unparalleled guest experience through the best combination of food, drinks and games in an ideal environment for celebrating all out fun
Keep immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance
Create a warm, fun atmosphere for guests and team members
Adhere to company’s sanitation procedures
Follow alcohol awareness procedures for preventing intoxication and dealing with intoxicated guests
Assess guest demeanor and identify when behavior should be called to the attention of a manager
Responsible for making and delivering non-alcoholic drinks to guests
Ensure all drinks are properly garnished and deliver trays to designated tables as well as other sections
Assist in clearing away dishes and glassware and refilling beverages as needed
Assist in bussing and resetting tables, restock and prepare supplies for shift change or close
Assist in ongoing guest satisfaction by checking back after delivery of drinks and responding to guest needs in a timely manner
Maintain a thorough understanding of all menu items and answer questions regarding food and drink items and their preparation
Work quickly and efficiently adhering to “Full hands in, Full hands out” philosophy
Assist other team members as needed or as business dictates
Keep station clean and set up and take down station tables appropriately
Maintain a favorable working relationship with all other company team members to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate
Communicate effectively with guests to generate enthusiasm about the Dave & Buster’s experience
Read and communicate in English
Listen to hear guests’ orders and needs and then communicate with guests verbally and with other team members
Dress in proper dress code requirements, looking neat, clean and professional at all times
Must be at least 18 years of age
