Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to work days, nights and or weekends as required
- Ability to work in noisy, fast paced environment with distracting conditions
- Ability to read and write handwritten notes
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- Ability to move about facility and stand for long periods of time
- Ability to walk or stand 100 percent of shift
- Ability to reach, bend and stoop frequently
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, noisy environment
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures
- Understanding of alcohol awareness policies
- Good interpersonal skills to create a warm and fun atmosphere
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization
- Efficient multitasking and time management skills
- Prior experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
- Ability to work flexible schedules including days, nights, and weekends
Job Duties
- Deliver an unparalleled guest experience through the best combination of food, drinks and games in an ideal environment for celebrating all out fun
- Keep immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance
- Create a warm, fun atmosphere for guests and team members
- Adhere to company’s sanitation procedures
- Follow alcohol awareness procedures for preventing intoxication and dealing with intoxicated guests
- Assess guest demeanor and identify when behavior should be called to the attention of a manager
- Responsible for making and delivering non-alcoholic drinks to guests
- Ensure all drinks are properly garnished and deliver trays to designated tables as well as other sections
- Assist in clearing away dishes and glassware and refilling beverages as needed
- Assist in bussing and resetting tables, restock and prepare supplies for shift change or close
- Assist in ongoing guest satisfaction by checking back after delivery of drinks and responding to guest needs in a timely manner
- Maintain a thorough understanding of all menu items and answer questions regarding food and drink items and their preparation
- Work quickly and efficiently adhering to “Full hands in, Full hands out” philosophy
- Assist other team members as needed or as business dictates
- Keep station clean and set up and take down station tables appropriately
- Maintain a favorable working relationship with all other company team members to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate
- Communicate effectively with guests to generate enthusiasm about the Dave & Buster’s experience
- Read and communicate in English
- Listen to hear guests’ orders and needs and then communicate with guests verbally and with other team members
- Dress in proper dress code requirements, looking neat, clean and professional at all times
- Must be at least 18 years of age
