The role of a Drink Server at Dave & Buster's plays a vital role in delivering excellent service that enhances the overall guest experience. As the expert responsible for ensuring that drinks look appealing and are delivered promptly to guests, this position requires dedication to speed, accuracy, and attentiveness. Besides serving drinks, the Drink Server is expected to maintain stocked and clean service stations, contribute to a warm and fun atmosphere for both guests and team members, and adhere strictly to sanitation and alcohol awareness protocols. Job Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
Work days, nights and/or weekends as required
Work in noisy, fast paced environment with distracting conditions
Read and write handwritten notes
Lift and carry up to 30 pounds
Move about facility and stand for long periods of time
Walk or stand 100% of shift
Reach, bend and stoop frequently

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Experience in food and beverage serving or customer service roles preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Knowledge of sanitation and alcohol awareness procedures beneficial
Ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail
Capable of standing and moving throughout the shift
Basic math skills to handle orders and transactions
Proficiency in English for verbal and written communication

Job Duties

Deliver an unparalleled guest experience through the best combination of food, drinks and games in an ideal environment for celebrating all out fun
Keep immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance, take prompt corrective action where necessary or suggest alternative courses of action
Create a warm, fun atmosphere for guests and team members
Adhere to company sanitation procedures
Follow alcohol awareness procedures for preventing intoxication and dealing with intoxicated guests
Assess guest demeanor and identify when behavior should be called to attention of a manager
Make and deliver non-alcoholic drinks to guests
Ensure all drinks are properly garnished and deliver trays to designated tables and other sections
Assist in clearing away dishes and glassware, and refilling beverages as needed
Assist in bussing and resetting tables as needed, restock and prepare supplies for shift change and/or close
Assist in ongoing guest satisfaction by checking back after delivery of drinks and responding to guest needs in a timely manner
Maintain thorough understanding of all menu items and answer questions regarding food and drink items and their preparation
Work quickly and efficiently adhering to "Full hands in, full hands out" philosophy
Assist other team members as needed
Keep station clean, set up and take down station tables appropriately
Maintain favorable working relationship with company team members to foster cooperative and harmonious working climate and help keep high morale, productivity and efficiency/effectiveness
Effectively communicate with guests to generate enthusiasm about the D&B experience
Read and communicate in English
Listen to hear guests' orders and needs and communicate verbally with guests and team members
Dress in proper dress code requirements, looking neat, clean and professional at all times
