As a Drink Master at Olive Garden, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the overall dining experience by becoming the expert behind the bar. Your primary responsibility will be to craft and serve a diverse selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages that complement Olive Garden’s Italian cuisine. This includes fine wines, refreshing beers, classic cocktails, and creative specialty drinks made to the highest standards set by the company. Leveraging your knowledge of mixology and beverage service, you will engage with guests to understand their preferences and recommend perfect drink pairings that enhance their meal experience.

Your role will also involve maintaining an impeccably clean and organized bar area, ensuring that all bar tools and equipment are sanitized and in excellent working condition. You will be responsible for managing beverage inventory and communicating supply needs to management, helping to keep the bar fully stocked and running smoothly. In addition to serving guests, you will uphold all local, state, and federal regulations related to responsible alcohol service, prioritizing guest safety and compliance.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting preferred
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Knowledge of state and local alcohol laws
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Reliable and punctual

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in mixology or beverage service
  • Knowledge of wine beer and cocktail preparation
  • Strong customer service skills

Job Duties

  • Craft and serve a wide array of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including wine beer cocktails and specialty drinks adhering to Olive Garden's recipes and quality standards
  • Engage with guests to understand their preferences and recommend appropriate drink pairings for their meals
  • Maintain a clean organized and fully stocked bar area ensuring all equipment is in excellent working condition
  • Adhere to all local state and federal regulations regarding the responsible service of alcohol
  • Assist in managing inventory of beverages and bar supplies reporting needs to management as necessary
  • Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of all glassware bar tools and guest touchpoints within the beverage service area
